Sony today announced a new generation of supports: the first CFExpress type A memory cards in the world[ii] from 80 GB and 160 GB (CEA-G80T and CEA-G160T), New Entry in the Tough Sony Tabs range. Sony's new CFExpress type A cards guarantee high speed of transfer, resistance and reliability, to offer professional performance and ease of use to photographers and content creators.

High-speed performance

Both CEA-G80T (80 GB) and CEA-G160T (160 GB) exploit the latest flash memory control technology to reach up to 700 MB / SI write speeds and up to 800 MB / yes of reading speed, reducing to an extent Buffer's liberation times, to ensure efficient and stress-free shooting sessions and shooting sessions. Perfect design for heat dissipation

The new A type A cfexpress memory cards are equipped with a heat sink to transfer the heat generated by the card to be transferred to the outside during the transmission of large amounts of high-speed data. Tough resistance

Reliability

Accidents happen. The data recovery software Memory Card Rescue file[v] Sony allows you to recover RAW and video 4K images accidentally deleted from memory cards. CFExpress card reader type A / SD

Optimized for new type A CFExpress memory cards, the CFExpress type A / SD card reader (MRW-G2) offers a 10 Gbps SuperSpeed USB transfer rate (USB 3.2 GEN 2) via USB Type connector -C®, ensuring efficient workflow when working with high resolution image files, 4K videos and other high volume data types. If used together with a CFExpress type A card, it allows data to be transferred about 2.8 times faster than conventional media[vii]. The MRW-G2 card reader can be used with CFExpress type A memory cards and SDXC / SDHC cards (UHS-I and UHS-II).
