This bright fixed focal length is operated by two Hyper VCM engines that guarantee fast and constant automatic focusing performance, with a minimum focusing distance of 79 cm. The optical lens design incorporates various high quality glass elements to guarantee an exceptional image quality over the entire frame. The body of the metal lens, weatherproof, is resistant to both dust and sketches, improving reliability against atmospheric agents.

Complete optical design

The AF 85mm F / 1.4 Pro Z presents an ultraprecisa aspherical lens (UA), three very low lenses (ED) and nine slow refractive index lenses (HR) to minimize optical aberrations and significantly improve the Image quality.

The optical design consists of 15 elements in 11 groups, which work together to offer impressive sharpness.

HD multilayer dwarf coating on the lens glass effectively reduces the ghosting and flare, helping to create sharper images.

Professional control

Viltrox's Hyper VCM motorboards offer a fast and efficient autofocus, along with advanced detection of faces and eyes, ensuring that the subject is correctly traced and in focus.

On the lens barrel there is a customizable FN button to program the favorite settings and access it quickly.

A snap switch allows you to switch from a fluid aperture adjustment, useful when recording videos.
