Ilford Ortho Plus It is a negative black and white orchromatic film at a particularly suitable average speed for reproduction work or continuous-tone copy, as well as for mediated technical and forensic applications. It has a nominal sensitivity of ISO 80/20 ° if exposed in daylight conditions, or ISO 40/17 ° if exposed to tungsten light and can be developed in the standard chemistry of black and white. Furthermore, since the film is sensitive only to blue and green light, it can be manipulated in red safety light conditions and developed by inspection for precise processing control. Its high resolution, fine grain structure and long tonal range make it ideal for the production of faithful reproductions of original works and documents, as well as for photomicroscopy.
