The NexusFocus F1 adapter acts as a control hub between the camera body and external motors, translating the PDAF data and the subject recognition to Sony in accurate lens movements. Unlike Lidar-based systems, the accuracy of the focus derives directly from the camera sensor, eliminating parallax errors and maintaining a constant focus on the whole frame.

Three-channel FIZ engine control

The system supports synchronized control of focus, diaphragm and zoom using external motors mounted on standard 15 mm rods. At each motor it is possible to assign a function through the integrated commands and offers a high torque with a rapid response for movie type objectives. This kit includes a focus control engine and can be expanded with additional motors.
